Every search reads live from the platform. Results that run past one page carry a cursor to send back for the next.

Keyword search

Native search

• Instagram. Input: query. Returns accounts (username, full name, accountId, verified badge, profile picture), hashtags (name, media count) and places (name, title, place id). One page, no cursor.

Creator search on Instagram is the accounts part of this result, not a separate lookup. It lists accounts only: no follower counts, country or contact details.

Video and post search

• TikTok. Input: query, posted within (yesterday to all time), and sort by (relevance, most-liked or date-posted). Returns per video the id, description, time posted, play, like, comment, share and save counts, author handle and music title.
• YouTube. Input: query. Returns matching results.
• X. Input: query, and Top or Latest order. Returns matching posts.

Advanced search

• YouTube. Input: query, upload date, sort by, filter and region. Returns matching results.

Top results

• TikTok. Input: query. Returns videos and photo carousels: id, description, video or photo type, time posted, country of the post, URL, counts, author handle and follower count, and whether it is an ad or a paid partnership.

Account search

• TikTok. Input: query. Returns accounts: handle, nickname, accountId, secUid, bio, follower, following, total like and video counts, and verification label.
• X. Input: query. Returns matching accounts.

On Instagram, accounts come from native search.

Hashtags and topics

Hashtag search

• Instagram. Input: hashtag, media type (all or reels), and posted within (last hour to last year). Returns per post the shortcode, URL, caption, whether it is a video, product type, play, like and comment counts, time posted, owner username and follower count, and the song name. Results are public pages found through web search, so their order is not Instagram's own top or recent order.
• TikTok. Input: hashtag. Returns the videos that use it: id, description, time posted, counts, author and music title. Results carry no totals. Post counts and views for a hashtag are on the hashtag board in Trends and sounds.
• YouTube. Input: hashtag. Returns the videos that use it.

Topic explorer

• Instagram. Input: query. Returns the topic's title, total media count, description and suggested terms, with popular posts (URL, type, caption, play count, owner username).
